Happy Easter!

I hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful Easter day.  My children had a great time searching for eggs the Easter bunny left.  So much fun. :)  The sun was bright and shining all day on PEI which was fantastic.  Tank top weather 2 days in a row.  :)  We had a quiet morning in Montague.  I enjoyed some Primal Pancakes for breakfast then had a quick iFast through lunch in preparation for Easter dinner at mom’s.

As I mentioned in last night’s blog post the meals weren’t entirely Primal but Mark allows for this in his book.  My family and I enjoyed turkey, potato, carrots, turnip, homemade dressing (made with bread), canned cranberries (not Primal) and then strawberry shortcake for dessert.  I enjoyed the meal immensely and have zero regrets. :)  It was delicious!

We got home around 5 pm and I snacked on some dark chocolate the Easter bunny left me.  No other treats.  The kids have all kinds of sugary treats in the house which would ordinarily drive me insane to “snack” but I have zero interest in them.  The Easter dinner at mom’s was a PLANNED meal and I enjoyed it fully.  Now that it’s done, I’m quite pleased to be back to my Primal eating pattern for the remainder of the 30 day challenge.  No problems whatsoever. :)

I was studying for my Nutrition and Wellness course during the drive to Ch’town and I hit the chapter on Aura’s and the 7 Chakras and found myself completely fascinated.  I know some people may scoff when I say this, but I think I have been seeing auras for quite some time and never realized it.  I remember when I was younger I could see a glowing light from people around me or even people on tv.  I remember asking someone about it and was told “It’s just your eyes” and was told to think nothing more of it.  Since then I just assumed it was something everyone could see from time to time or simply nothing at all.  I’ve had my eyes tested many times and have 20/20 vision.  Anyhow, I got to reading this chapter in my Nutrition and Wellness book and got to thinking “I wonder if an Aura is the same glow I have been seeing since I was younger?”  I honestly have no idea.  It doesn’t happen all the time and for the most part I only see white light.  In the little research I’ve done so far some Aura readers begin by only seeing white light and the more you focus you can start seeing color.  Very neat!  To make a very long story short, I find myself fascinated and wanting to learn more. :)  Maybe it’s nothing…maybe it’s something.  Who knows?  I just know I’m intrigued to learn more. :)  I know I have encountered some people that have given off amazing glows and other people with barely anything at all.  I used to make up stories in my head that I was seeing their spirit trying to escape their body.”  Sounds weird but that’s what I figured the glow was.  Kinda neat to know it actually has a name now. :)  If this is a skill I have without even realizing it I want to educate myself further about it!

Anyhow that’s my long winded scoop from today.  I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!  I look forward to spending another day at home with my family tomorrow and getting more studying and cleaning done.

Nite nite!

I think you really are seeing auras! I know that I've always wanted to see them and can't at all, and some of my closest friends are actually able to see them. Keep working on it, I think it's a really cool ability!

Thanks Tovah! I discussed this a bit more with the woman taking the Nutrition & Wellness course with me and she believes I can see Auras as well. I'm definitely going to work on this more. I find it fascinating! :)
