Today was a busy day! Work flew by which was awesome. I started my morning off with a weigh in and I was up 2 lbs. Not a big deal as I drank a lot of water the night before and my cycle is here. I'm confident it will all even out in the end. :)
Tonight was my evening to run with the girls so I met with them at 5. We did sprints which was A LOT of fun. To quote Mary "I am beating you this time Kim!" It was a friendly challenge to push ourselves harder and I enjoyed every minute of it. Crystal and Mary gave me some great competition but I still managed to come out slightly ahead. Barely at the end. These girls are STRONG and I love them for pushing me. :)
I confirmed from tonight’s run that I still "got it" when it comes to my cardio. I can still hold my own with the running group to keep up, sprint ahead and all of this on top of going through my monthly cycle. The Primal diet and lifestyle change hasn’t set me back at all! What a fantastic feeling and relief! :)
Speaking of periods (sorry guys I know this has been a trending topic here)…I read that the best time to push yourself exercise wise is immediately after your period. This comes from Rachel Cosgrove's book The Female Body Breakthrough. I can't wait to test this theory in a few days. :). I think it's fitting that the timing works out to almost the end of my 30 day challenge as well! You would almost think I planned this. ;)
That's my scoop for today. I still have to prep lunch for tomorrow then get some sleep!
